On the road

I don't plan on boring you with blogs everyday or with ever detail of the trip but I thought you might find it interesting to here where we have been ever few days.  At present I'm just outside of Little Rock Arkansas.  I couldn't get my Dad to drive town down so that I could see the capital.  Oh well.
Thus far we have been to Tupelo, Mississippi to see the birth place of Elvis and to Memphis and toured Graceland.  My son is a huge Elvis fan and he has been bouncing off the walls with excitement.  Currently at 9:53 he is still unable to give in to sleep.
The mighty Mississippi River is bulging and many other rivers near by are ready to cover the road if a good little rain adds any more.  I do pray that not much will be damaged if it does continue to rise.
The only scrapbook related information I can give you today is that I am working on a spiral book each night.  I'm adding my tickets and souvenirs if appropriate to my book.  Doing a little of the journaling in hopes that when I get home I can add a few embellishments and some pictures and be done.  I hope that this takes away that overwhelming  feeling of being behind as soon as I get home from this month long trip.   I do hope it turns out and that I will be able to share some grate pictures of it.
Happy Scrapping
Heather

Scrapbooking Recipes

With the holidays coming so fast we need more hours in our day. One way I've found to help is quick and easy meals. Here is one that I love to use when I have a full day.

Lazy Log Cabin Casserole:

1lb stew meat cubed
1 can of Cream of Celery
1 can of Cram of Mushroom
1 packet of Beef Onion Soup (I don't use this. I just add salt, pepper, garlic powder and dried minced onions but I'm an eye ball cook)
Toss all this in the crock pot together give it a stir put it on low and cook it for 6 - 8 hours. Home cooked meal with just a few moments prep. Put a salad bag with it and your hubby can't be upset that there isn't a home cooked meal on the table.
