What a Week at CHA

Heather, Denise & I really did a good job picking the things you will want to buy as soon as they come in the store!

On the drive down Heather & I talked about the comments you have been leaving about what you want to buy so we went in on a mission.... unique embellishments & great patterned paper.

Orders were placed with Pink Paislee (our first stop of the day), Prima, Maya Road, Tattered Angels, Websters Pages, Little Yellow Bicycle, Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, My Mind's Eye, Graphics 45, Tim Holtz (yes we will have Grunge Paper), and many more.

Here's some photos that I've gotten loaded on the computer so far.... sorry for the quality I need a new camera.

Brand new scrapbooking company Nikki Sivils - They have whimsical designs. One of their embellishments is a plastic bread tag. Look for owl shaped mini albums & great paper/embellishments in the next couple weeks

Tattered Angels booth:

Pink Paislee we will be stocking all 4 lines - Pink Paislee hit it right on the money this season. The colors, prints, themes, EVERYTHING is going to make these the must have papers this season...

7Gypsies had a lot more color than usual in their papers & great embellishments.

We are now officially selling Basic Grey! We bought a lot of the lace papers & new lines

Graphics 45 Domestic Goddess is beautiful in person & really photographs well since it has a lot more color too. I can't wait to work with it. It's very versitle & even you non vintage girls will love the geometric patterns in this one.

We purchased the 2 newest Webster's Pages Lines including their lovely vellum. Their papers are always beautiful & what Terri does with them is amazing making pages that are true works of art.

These flowers were made with Tim Holtz Grunge Paper. It's thinner than grungeboard so you can run it thrut the die cutting machines but has all the other properties we love with grungeboard. It's sold in packs of 12x12 sheets. I will be ordering a lot of this when it comes in.

Jenni Bowlin has some new small letters that are circular - LOVED them. We purchased some of the new styles of her chipboard buttons & Bingo cards too.

Prima was amazing we get a big hug from Adam as we enter the booth & Heather was just pointing out give me this, this, this...... Lots of PRIMA SPRITES in every color will be coming in. We will also be stocking this paper line. Love the orange & teal colors

We found another company that has bling flourishes at a great price so be on the lookout for Zva in the store in the coming weeks. It looks a lot like Prima but at a better price point so you will have a choice.

Well that's all from me for now... keep checking back as Heather & Denise will be posting later today or tomorrow.

Don't look too hard for 7 gypsies. Sorry - That one never made the final cut. They did have a great new release but their requirements of me would have made the other goodies impossible to get. I will keep looking at them and as soon as it is the smart move I will add them to my collection!!!

Scrapbooking Recipes

With the holidays coming so fast we need more hours in our day. One way I've found to help is quick and easy meals. Here is one that I love to use when I have a full day.

Lazy Log Cabin Casserole:

1lb stew meat cubed
1 can of Cream of Celery
1 can of Cram of Mushroom
1 packet of Beef Onion Soup (I don't use this. I just add salt, pepper, garlic powder and dried minced onions but I'm an eye ball cook)
Toss all this in the crock pot together give it a stir put it on low and cook it for 6 - 8 hours. Home cooked meal with just a few moments prep. Put a salad bag with it and your hubby can't be upset that there isn't a home cooked meal on the table.
