Reflections or Resolutions December Journaling Challenge

Hope you all had a great Christmas!

It's the 28th & that means ES Challenge Day.  This month I thought a journaling challenge would fit the time of the year... as 2009 is winding down & the frenzy of the holidays is over I start reflecting on what happend during the year & my hopes & dreams for the next.

Create a layout about YOU (no groaning allowed lol) then: REFLECT on the year past, share your RESOLUTIONS for the coming year or if you are feeling really ambitious do them both....

The design team are showcasing Webster's Pages or Graphics 45 papers in their takes on the challenge....

Here's mine... reflecting on the past.  You'll see a closeup of the journaling & linked supply list on my blog as you hop.

You have until Midnight Saturday, January 9th, 2010 to complete the challenge & leave a comment to this thread with a link to a photo of your project to be entered to win a gift certificate for the Everything Scrapp'n store.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

There's lots of stuff happening in January.  We'll be having our fist online crop January 15th - 18th in the ES Forum with lots of prizes, we have a talented guest designer Tracy "traychic" Gregory, Monthly Bingo game in ES Forum, and of course our blog hopping giveaways on the 14th & 28th.  You know a month isn't complete without a sale - I'm sure Heather will be throwing on in for MLK holiday...

We're minus one of the design team today - Michelle has been sick with the flu for a week now. She'll be posting here later in the week when she's feeling better.

Now go get a dose of inspiration from the design team:

Have a great day!

Scrapbooking Recipes

With the holidays coming so fast we need more hours in our day. One way I've found to help is quick and easy meals. Here is one that I love to use when I have a full day.

Lazy Log Cabin Casserole:

1lb stew meat cubed
1 can of Cream of Celery
1 can of Cram of Mushroom
1 packet of Beef Onion Soup (I don't use this. I just add salt, pepper, garlic powder and dried minced onions but I'm an eye ball cook)
Toss all this in the crock pot together give it a stir put it on low and cook it for 6 - 8 hours. Home cooked meal with just a few moments prep. Put a salad bag with it and your hubby can't be upset that there isn't a home cooked meal on the table.

Do you have a quick recipe? email me hgturner@everythingscrappn.com
