Ok now on to more personal but still Everything Scrapp'n Related. First and most important is I hired a new web designer today. He is going to help me make the site more efficient and help get my name out there even more. This means more shoppers and more shoppers means more STOCK! I can't wait to see how this will improve the site. Oh as a side note - Sometime over the next week the site might be hard to get on. Tony said that he will make the transition as smooth as possible with as little down time as possible but I did want to give you all a heads up!

Lastly: As some of you know it was always my passion to have a physical store with classes and crops and interaction with customers. This dream is closer faster than I thought. I have found a place that is in a great location and is very affordable with a great contract. I'm working on the financing this week. I can't wait. My service to my great online customers will not change but all this means I can bring you more lines and product. I'm so excited! Now if I could just find time to scrap LOL.

Monthly Kits

Fads come and fads go and many of us flow with them. In flowing with them I've asked some friends to come up with kits. It will be just like any of the kit clubs out there except that their won't be a "club" to join. You buy the kits you like when you want them. They will be around as long as they last. At first there will not be many of them. As I see how they do I will increase the total amount of kits I put together. Having said all this here is the first kit. Scrapp'n Is The Issue

Tonight I don't have anything new just wanted to share: I find myself sitting here in front of the computer at 9pm wondering when the last time I scrapped anything was. I also find myself thinking about the stacks of stuff that have been placed on top of my scrapping area. It frustrates me that I'm supposed to be an owner of a scrapbooking store and I don't have layouts each day or even each week that I can post to help inspire people to scrap. I do however know that this post will help many men and women out there.

Whether you work outside of the home or in the home life is a full time job and finding time is just hard. Today I really wanted to go and clean up my scrapping area but between shuttling my kids to their friends homes and making sure that the checks were in the bank, gas was in the truck and the dry cleaning got picked up, not to mention that I was keeping two children for someone else and had to work on the website I just ran out of time.

I know there are many of us out there who feel the same. I hope that my little vent helps you to know that you aren't alone out there. We must just try and one day we will get it done. This is a hobby and we should love what we do and do what we love. Don't give up!

OMG I'm so excited about the new albums I've received at the store. These are the coolest albums I've EVER seen. You can choose how much to scrap. I personally plan to use this on my 2006 year. I got so behind I just skipped it, with only a few exceptions. I have about 10 layouts that need a home and I hated for them to be in one place and my pics in another. This album fixed that problem for me. I will be able to put my 4 x 6 pictures in the album and scrap those "Totally must scrap" pictures. Also they offer journaling cards in the 4 x 6 size that will allow you to Journal or scrap something to highlight those photos. I absolutely can't wait to get some time to go and start filling one of these up.

Now in addition to my opinion of this album let me tell you about them. I met the lady who came up with this idea at the Winter CHA. She was such a cool lady! She is like us all, pushed for time. So she designed this album. Now once she designed it she didn't stop there. She made sure that the quality and the look were 100% +. She told me that they would not be able to ship them right after CHA because the first batch came in and she was not happy with the quality. So they were sent back to be done to a higher standard. I have to say after holding one of these in my hand they feel great. They are firm and sturdy. They are a leather like material. The corners are protected with metal to keep them looking nice after being put on and off a shelf for many years. The binding is wide to hold lots of pages and provides you a place to insert a card to let you and others know what is in that album.
