Paints are in.

The paints that I ordered from Ranger came in today.  I got in the new colors from Stickles and some of there previously released colors.  I ordered the Liquid Pears in the new and some previously released colors.  Lastly I got the crackle paint by Tim Holtz.  I can't believe that he compounded the crackle look into one step in one bottle and it comes with a brush.  I can't wait to get my hands on one of these jars and give it a try.
If you are interested in the look of the stickles or the liquid pearls look at my previous post Prima CHA

CHA STUFF IT!

WOW I can't believe it.  I already have packages from CHA.  Come by the store and check it out.  Remember just click the title to this blog and it will take you there.
I've received the Karen Foster stuff and the Easter stuff from Creative Imaginations.  Be on the look out for the Rusty Pickle Chocolate and White Bunny.  Last year the Chocolate bunny was a HUGE hit and I think you will feel the same about the White Bunny.  I love it and the will both be in soon.  I will also make some egg hunting pails that will be for sale at the store and on etsy.  Can't wait to show those off.
Ok enough rambling here are pics.

Creative Imagination's gone green

Wow in this day where everyone wants us to think of the environment how can a scrapbooker go green?  Well besides saving every scrap we have what can we do, well Creative Imaginations has helped us with this.  Their papers are now all made out of recycled materials.  Great news!  This was all done at no cost to us how great is that.  Well I do hope that this evening I will get the new Creative Imaginations CHA stuff up at my store.  I also hope to get the Karen Foster stuff online as well.  I'll be having a very long night but you have a good one and thanks for reading.  I should be bringing you more fun stuff and layout ideas soon.

Prima CHA

This is a project I did in a class (pics are not in order).  After, I went straight to their booth and bought the albums and papers! (The stickles and glaze pens too)  These acrylic albums come with a paper covering you peal off. These are scratch resistant and you can even use a Mr. Clean Eraser if you make a mistake (not to many but one or two).  They don't come all mixed up like this but this was to show that the holes line up on all Prima's albums so you can mix and match.  Some are chipboard and some are acrylic.  In this blog I'm missing a couple of pics.  Sorry I'll add them tomorrow or something.

Ok I need some comments on this one.  Leave a comment say if it's a must have or a no go or if your neutral.  Don't worry about what others say just let me know what you think.  I like it but I've ordered so much I don't want to get these two line in if it's not a MUST HAVE!!!

Autumn Leaves CHA

Ok I finally got this thing to cooperate with my computer
This is the girl line and the boy line I picked up from Autumn leaves.  Some of these papers for the girl line are not in the papers that I chose. Some of them were only in a paper pack.  Sorry that I can't remember exactly which ones.

For the boy line I picked up the large die cuts in addition to some of these papers.  They will go great with Queen and Co.'s felt trains, and planes.

Paper, sticker buttons, and die cuts are what you can look forward to seeing in the store!

If there is not a visible link to the store click on the title of the blog.

AMM Shoulder Tote Bag

I know buying things like this online can be expensive and scary.  I just want to say that first my store has everything 40% off till Feb 24th.  Second I want to say this bag can carry a TON of stuff.  I used this tote for my scrapp'n supplies I needed to take to my classes at CHA.  After using it for class I saw just how much it will carry.  It has a mess bag for a water bottle, it has a large pocket on the side for you box of American Craft ribbon or something of that size.  It has two velcro pockets that can hold things such as iPods and cell phones.  It has a zipper pocket on the inside on the side.  It has a large pocket that can hold up to 12 x 12 paper.  There are about 6 more.  There are also pockets on the outside.  I ended up using this bag as my carry on because I needed to bring so much on the plane with me.  I took my lap top, a large hard back book, a 8 x 8 size book, my day planner that is probably 6 x 8, a large professional style camera, a medium size camera, my iPod, my cell phone, a notebook with my flight information and some convention information, my keys, a bottle of water, a tom tom (the thing for your car), my Nintendo DS in it's case, my kids Disney pins and a few other small things.

Well I know I rambled on about this bag but I just wanted to give you an idea of what can get in it and how worth it it is.  Especially at 40% off.  With the sale it will be $23.99

Cosmo Cricket CHA

This is a line by Cosmo Cricket that is super fun!  I love all this robot stuff.  They also have chipboard that you can paint or punch out the matching die cuts and cover it for dimension  or you can use just the die cut and still have your Robot!  This line could be used for so much.  This along with mini albums they are introducing are what will be coming in, in just a few months.

Cool Paint Technique

Click on the title of this blog to go to a cool paint technique by the folks at Cosmo Cricket.  They are putting it on their new black chipboard tag album.  Can't wait to get them in and try this.

Karen Foster CHA

Karen Foster has expounded on her bowling line with some new papers and this stacked statement.  She has some great kits.  I've ordered the Zoo, Ancestor, and Ballet kits for the store. As always in her unique style she has add ons for the dentist line.  I've ordered some of the papers and these totally cute dentist brads.  Oh and I almost forgot.  The great dance stickers.  They leave room for you to write facts about the dance.  I know personally I can't wait to use these.  My daughter just had a winter dance and I'm going to have her answer some of the questions.  I think this will be my last post today.  The battery on my laptop is about done and I'm out of pre-order pics.  I'll be getting ready this week to leave for California.  I can't wait.  Be on the look out for more blogs about CHA.

Flair Designs

These products will be in before the CHA products but I still had to show them.  The blank calendar pages give one line away.  I've order Flair's entire line of months.  Paper for every month, stickers for every month and cardstock stickers that will allow for identifying holidays and such.  I will be offering that entire line both separately and as a package (with a discount of course)

Second I'm bringing in a Christian faith based line.  This I'm very excited about.  Many of us scrappers are very strong in our faith and would like to express this in some of our pages.  This line will allow us to do that with papers, stickers, and quotes.

Queen & Company Products

These are just a few of the great things that I have coming in for Everything Scrapp'n.  The new felt that Queen & Co. has come out with is awesome.  There is felt for every sport there are fun felts that are bright.  As you they have fish, some you don't see are trains, and plains.  Over to the far right is a much wider felt and it has an asian theme.  I have ordered several of the wider felts.   Also Queen & Co. has come out with bigger brads.  If you've ever used there brads and are like me you are excited that they are making their fun and bright brads in a larger size.  I have also ordered some of their fun shaped brads!

I can't wait for all these items to get to the store!  As promised I will be posting more blogs as I down load pics of what I've pre-ordered.

Scrapbooking Recipes

With the holidays coming so fast we need more hours in our day. One way I've found to help is quick and easy meals. Here is one that I love to use when I have a full day.

Lazy Log Cabin Casserole:

1lb stew meat cubed
1 can of Cream of Celery
1 can of Cram of Mushroom
1 packet of Beef Onion Soup (I don't use this. I just add salt, pepper, garlic powder and dried minced onions but I'm an eye ball cook)
Toss all this in the crock pot together give it a stir put it on low and cook it for 6 - 8 hours. Home cooked meal with just a few moments prep. Put a salad bag with it and your hubby can't be upset that there isn't a home cooked meal on the table.

Do you have a quick recipe? email me hgturner@everythingscrappn.com
