Design Team Designs

With me away I assigned each of the DT members a day to handle the blog so that you could come by and visit with a cup of coffee and just enjoy but it's back to work for a freebie this time around.

What's the freebie? $25.00 Gift Certificate to the store!!

What do you have to do? Just tell me what you want to see in the store. CHA is fast approaching and I want to know what your favorite color is to scrap with, the embellishment you would love to see me carry that I don't have right now and/or the item that you want to make sure I keep in stock. Leave a comment telling me this and you will be entered.

So why should you go see each of the DT's blogs? One of the Design Team Members is hosting her own give away. The only hint I'll give you is if you love Thickers you better get to blog hopp'n

(*Design Team Members to the left with a link to their blogs - sorry am away from home and am unable to make the links*)

Enjoy the HOP
If you missed the last DT members turn in just scroll down to check out Zoa's work with Graphic 45 - It's gorgeous!

I like bright and cheery, but not girly. Teal, orange, yellow, khaki.

I am excited to see the new products that are revealed at CHA. I like vintage theme items too but I can't use them everywhere (though I try lol) since I have older sons & their personalities are more modern & fun. I'm also looking forward to seeing items from Collage Press, October Afternoon & I stock up on the new colors of the Bo Bunny dot cardstock that is perfect for anywhere.

I came from Zoa's blog! I am loving the new Kaiser Craft lines! I tend to have lots of orange in my pictures, so am always looking for fun new lines that have orange in them (brighter orange). Also love love love the purple and green combo! Anything felt is right up my ally too!

I love the idea that Basic Grey will be doing double-sided papers. As much as I loved BG before, now I REALLY have to have the latest lines!!

I would like to see lots of lace and frilly stuff. Any paper can be dressed up with these, but vintage patterns are my favorite.

I love bright colors....pink and orange and yellow and aqua blue. I would really love to see you carry more albums! For example the 3 ring binder albums from We R Memory Keepers and American Crafts. Surprisingly not too many online stores actually carry a nice selection of albums!

My favorite colors are craft and blue. Of the CHA sneaks I've seen, I'm really liking the new My Minds Eye. Any of it really, you can't go wrong. And I'm waiting to see this week what American Crafts comes up with, especially new Thickers.

Scrapbooking Recipes

With the holidays coming so fast we need more hours in our day. One way I've found to help is quick and easy meals. Here is one that I love to use when I have a full day.

Lazy Log Cabin Casserole:

1lb stew meat cubed
1 can of Cream of Celery
1 can of Cram of Mushroom
1 packet of Beef Onion Soup (I don't use this. I just add salt, pepper, garlic powder and dried minced onions but I'm an eye ball cook)
Toss all this in the crock pot together give it a stir put it on low and cook it for 6 - 8 hours. Home cooked meal with just a few moments prep. Put a salad bag with it and your hubby can't be upset that there isn't a home cooked meal on the table.

Do you have a quick recipe? email me hgturner@everythingscrappn.com
