You can Bloom too...with MME!!

I know that summer vacation just started, but I am already starting to get ready for the next school year. I am making Welcome Back buckets and clothespin magnets for all of the teachers at my school.
It all started with the new MME Bloom Paper Kit! I love it SO much!! I love the colors and the patterns. They are so bright and cheery. I had to share this paper with everyone!
I bought the little white buckets at Target in the Wedding section. I added some pebbles to the bottom to keep the flowers from moving. I love any excuse to use my scallop punches. I used three different sizes for these flowers. I used a glue dot to affix them to a plastic food pick (from the Dollar store!) They are sturdy and they have a flat face...and they are $1!! Add some buttons and ribbon and Viola!! pretty flowers!!

If you are like me, then you hate to waste paper. The packaging for the MME Bloom Paper Kit is perfect for this project! At the bottom of the front package is an example of all the beautiful papers...these are just the right size to affix to your clothespins! You will only need to make one straight cut...you can get more than one out of each design!!
I used my trusty Zip Dry glue to adhere the paper to the clip. I punched out a butterfly for each one but you could use anything! I also used my large square scallop punch for the message card. The small flower comes with the MME Bloom Kit. Add some magnets to the back and you can stick 'em anywhere!
I hope you like my projects...if you try it, add it to the comments, I would love to see what you do!

Scrapbooking Recipes

With the holidays coming so fast we need more hours in our day. One way I've found to help is quick and easy meals. Here is one that I love to use when I have a full day.

Lazy Log Cabin Casserole:

1lb stew meat cubed
1 can of Cream of Celery
1 can of Cram of Mushroom
1 packet of Beef Onion Soup (I don't use this. I just add salt, pepper, garlic powder and dried minced onions but I'm an eye ball cook)
Toss all this in the crock pot together give it a stir put it on low and cook it for 6 - 8 hours. Home cooked meal with just a few moments prep. Put a salad bag with it and your hubby can't be upset that there isn't a home cooked meal on the table.
