Anything Goes with Kraft

It's my day to host here on the ES blog.

Wow didn't you just love the projects from Teresa, Denise & Jana?

There are so many great products in the store right now & I love to just mix up the different lines to meet my needs for a particular layout. I love the way Bazzill Kraft Cardstock goes with any color pallet or theme. I never run out since Heather keeps it in stock in the Everything Scrapp'n Store.

First up I have a layout of my favorite Florida town St. Augustine. I love the laid back lifestyle & all the old buildings. I love polka dot paper & this chocolate brown with tiny white flowers by American Crafts is a nice twist -- I can't get enough of it.

Supplies: Cardstock (Kraft - Bazzill); Paper (Boing Backyard - American Crafts & My Friend Leaves of Love - My Mind's Eye); Tag (Farmers Wife Journaling Tag - Jenni Bowlin); Letters (Thickers - American Crafts); Letter Stickers (Making Memories); Stamps (Letters - Studio G & Swirl - Unity Stamp Co); Buttons (vintage stash); Ink (Ranger)

My hubby just bought a used motor home for us to have fun traveling in. With the boys now grown we are finding new things to do as a couple. The Fancy Pants cute outdoor theme set a fun tone for the page & showed how we are feeling young at heart in our new "empty nest" phase of life.

Supplies: Cardstock (Kraft - Bazzill & Bazzill brown & blue scraps); Paper (My Friend Leaves of Love - My Mind's Eye & Carefree Strawberry Lemonade Dots - Heidi Swapp) Diecut Images (Kraft Kuts 2 - Fancy Pants); Fabric Chipboard Letters (Bubblegum By the Yard Thickers - American Crafts); Letter Stickers (My Little Shoebox); Thread (Coats & Clarks); Punch (Marvy); Pen (Ranger)

My last layout is a motorcycle my youngest son Brandon bought & refurbished. He is quite the master with clear coat paints. I'm very proud of him & his talent. I thought a simple scrapbook style would be perfect for the theme & I'm loving the sticker books from Pink Paislee they include fun borders, shapes & a bunch of alphabet stickers.

Supplies: Cardstock (Kraft - Bazzill); Stickers (Fetching Sticker Book - Pink Paislee); Vinyl Letters (Thickers - American Crafts); Thread (Coats & Clarks)

So I'll finish up the post with a card. I love to use up some of the My Mind's Eye scraps making cards. This summer I am making blank handmade cards to send to our soldiers on active duty that they can send to their loved ones at home. So here's another one to add to the stack already competed.

Supplies: Paper (Love Desire - My Mind's Eye & My Friend Leaves of Love - My Mind's Eye), Border Punch (Fiskars); Stamps (Candy - Unity Stamp Co & Hello - Hero Arts)

I hope I gave you a bit of inspiration.

With
CHA fast approaching what product lines are you dying to see? Leave me a comment so we will know what you'd like to see in the Everything Scrapp'n Store in the coming months.

Have a wonderful weekend & remember to take some time to do something creative.
Suz

It's great to know I can be away and know you girls will help keep things going. I'm excited to see those comments on what you want to come to the store from the Summer CHA.

Suz, your layouts are terrific. I really like the way you captured St. Augustine and your new mobile home. The card is just fantastic too! Thanks for all your creative ideas. They keep me going these days. . . Lori

Scrapbooking Recipes

With the holidays coming so fast we need more hours in our day. One way I've found to help is quick and easy meals. Here is one that I love to use when I have a full day.

Lazy Log Cabin Casserole:

1lb stew meat cubed
1 can of Cream of Celery
1 can of Cram of Mushroom
1 packet of Beef Onion Soup (I don't use this. I just add salt, pepper, garlic powder and dried minced onions but I'm an eye ball cook)
Toss all this in the crock pot together give it a stir put it on low and cook it for 6 - 8 hours. Home cooked meal with just a few moments prep. Put a salad bag with it and your hubby can't be upset that there isn't a home cooked meal on the table.
